My passion for birth is shaped by my own personal birth experiences. I understand what is like to not feel empowered and I believe that every woman deserves to be supported in her choices about her own care.

I consider one of my most important duties as your midwife to be empowering you to take charge of your pregnancy and birth experience through thorough prenatal education.

I understand that we cannot control the outcomes of birth. However, I believe that respectful, compassionate care that places an emphasis on knowledge and education empowers women and families to face any situation with boldness and bravery.

Above all else, I believe informed consent is the cornerstone of respectful care.
